Mental Deficiency Nurse. Because they have tried to satisfy so many, they have achieved very little in the way of a suitable book of instruction. The nursing of mental defectives must have a more prominent place in any book of this kind for it to be successful. The authors have mistakenly emphasised the preparation of trays and trolleys in preference to the work the nurses have elected to do. The preparation of trays and trolleys is taught in the school of nursing, and will reflect the requirements of the particular hospital while still maintaining the basic principle, it is a pity therefore that they saw fit to include
